Friday, Sept.5

Highlights:

• Today we went outside for 'Field Study Friday' and used a noticing sheet to record what we observed in nature. We split our page into 4 sections for land, water, animals and sounds. Ask me what I found!
• We also did a classroom cooperation activity called 'Save Fred'. We had to work together using 4 paper clips to lift Fred (the gummy worm) back into his life jacket (the gummy ring) and back onto his boat (the plastic cup). It was very fun but very challenging! 
• We did a writing activity using a guided drawing of a bird to start off. We added other details to the picture such as a tree, a nest, and worms, and then we wrote sentences about the picture.

• Please give permission for your child to have pictures taken at school so I can post them on the blog and you can see examples of them working throughout the day!
